Suicide attack case on Chinese teachers, warrant issued for 6 fugitive suspects

The Anti-Terrorism Court of Karachi has issued arrest warrants for six fugitive accused in the case of suicide attack on Chinese teachers of Confucius Institute in Karachi University.

The anti-terrorism court heard the case of suicide attack on Chinese teachers in Karachi University, the court issued arrest warrants for 6 fugitive suspects.

In the case, six suspects including Hebtan Baloch, the husband of suicide bomber Shari Baloch, are absconding, other absconding suspects include Bashir Zeb, Rehman Gul, Khalil alias Waja, the spokesman of the banned BLA Mir Safeer, while one accused Dad Bakhsh is arrested in the case.

Dad Bakhsh was arrested on July 4, 2022 at Fish Chowk in Hawke’s Bay.

The police took the stand in the court that the husband of the accused Shari was involved in joining and masterminding her banned organization, while the accused Dad Bakhsh used to provide information to Khalil, Dr. Hebtan Baloch and Bashir Zeb through reiki.

3 Chinese nationals killed in bomb blast in Karachi University

Accused Dad Bakhsh along with his co-accused Nasir has disclosed targeting Chinese nationals. Most of the fugitive accused are hiding in Afghanistan and doing terrorist activities.

It should be noted that on April 26, there was a suicide attack outside the Confucius Institute in Karachi University, as a result of which four people including three Chinese nationals were killed in a van. The van was returning with teachers assigned to teach Chinese language. But the female attacker who was standing in ambush blew herself up.

Among the foreigners killed in the blast were directors Huang Guiping, Ding Moping, Chen Sai and van driver Khalid, while Wang Yuqing and security guard Hamid were among the injured.
