Karachi Consumers Protection Court fines marble shop
KARACHI- Jul – 19, 2021 -Consumers Protection Court Central District on Monday, imposed a fine of Rs 69,000 on the marble shop for selling substandard marble to a customer.
One Khadim Hussain filed a case against Dilshad Marble Karachi. Most of the pieces turned to be too poor.
Despite his complaint the shopkeeper did not resolved the matter. He filed a claim of rupees one million.
The court heard the case and fine the marble shop of Rs 69,000. In case of failure to pay fine, he will undergo imprisonment for three years.
A copy of the decision has been given to the concerned SHO Rizvia police station and the parties.
