Sanan Qureshi, 14 others released on bail in Bahria Town case

KARACHI – Jul 19,2021 – Chairman Ieay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Sanaan Khan Qureshi and 14 others accused in Bahria Town case were released from Central and district Jail Malir on Monday.

The Anti-Terrorism Court grnated bail to 147 leaders and activists arrested in the Bahria Town case.

Among them 15 were released from Malir and Central Karachi.

SUP, STP and Sindh Action Committee (SAC) workers warmly welcomed the leaders when they were released from jail.

JSQM Chairman Sanaan Khan Qureshi, Amjad Mehsir and other were arrested after June 6 protests in front of Bahria Town Gate.

After his release, JSQM Chairman Sanaan Khan Qureshi told reporters that he was not happy on his release because the workers arrested with him were still behind the bars.

He thanked Rashid Mehmood Soomro, Moazam Abbasi and all others who raised voice against the arrest of the activists.
