120 persons arrested in Bahria Town riot case produced in court

KARCAHI (June 9, 2021) Five accused, including nationalist leader Sanaan Qureshi, were produced before the anti-terrorism court Karachi on Wednesday.

Sanaan Qureshi is son of Late Bashir Khan Qureshi, chairman Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz. He and 120 others were arrested for rioting on the occasion of sin-in protest outside Bahria Town on June 6.

The court handed over the accused to the police on physical remand for two days.

The court sent the other 120 accused to jail custody on completion of their physical remand and ordered the investigating officer to submit the case report at the next hearing.
