Illegal appointments in SBB Medical University exposed

Former VC Professor Hakim Ali Abro wrote a letter to the Chairperson Syndicate and exposed the Illegal appointments in the SBB Medical University Larkana.

In the letter, he alleged that more than 23 appointments made by Vice Chancellor Dr Anila Atta Rehman in various departments were illegal.

The letter informed that the appointments made without the Syndicate meeting and the approval of the Senate are in violation of the decision of the Syndicate.

Professor Hakim Abro wrote that the powers of the Vice Chancellor are not above those of the syndicate.

Following the death of a medical student in hostel room in mysterious circumstances Vice Chancellor Dr Anila Atta Rehman was temporarily removed and sent on forced leave. Professor Hakim Ali Abro was appointed as acting vice chancellor. However she approached the court and was restored.
