Slain Nazim Jokhio heirs reach compromise with accused
Important development in Nazim Jokhio case took place as a settlement was reached between the parties.
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Malir heard the case on Saturday. The accused were to be charged today.
Nazim Jokhio’s heirs submitted an affidavit in the court. Nazim Jokhio’s heirs told the court, “We have reconciled with the accused, there is no objection to ending the case.”
The affidavit has been submitted on behalf of Nazim Jokhio’s mother, widow and children.

The court ordered to publish an advertisement in the newspaper regarding the legal heirs.
The court also sought a report from NADRA till the next hearing.
Six accused including Pakistan People’s Party member Sindh Assembly Jam Owais have been arrested in the case.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case till October 15.
A young man from Malir area of Karachi Nazim Jokhio was allegedly killed in 2021, by the Chieftain of his tribe, for reportedly filming a video of some foreigner hunters and uploading it on social media.
The slain Nazim Jokhio had uploaded a video on social media in a bid to stop foreigners from hunting, after which his body with torture marks was found.
