Mobile phone and clothes of Nazim Jokhio recovered from well

The mobile phone and clothes of slain Nazim Jokhio were found in a well near Jam House, Malir.
Nazim Jokhio was allegedly killed by the Chieftain of his tribe, for reportedly filming a video of some foreigner hunters and uploading it on social media.
According to the investigating authorities, significant progress has been made into the Nazim Jokhio murder case and the investigation team has recovered the clothes and mobile phone of the victim from the well in the presence of some media teams.
The accused arrested in the murder case had revealed during interrogation that they had thrown Nazim Jokhio’s mobile phone and clothes into the well and set them on fire.
Officials sources said that the investigation team reached the well on the identification of the accused and recovered both the items. Authorities further said that the mobile phone was burnt to a great extent.
According to the investigating authorities, the clothes and mobile recovered will be sent to the Punjab Forensic Laboratory for further forensic examination.
Who was Nazim Jokhio?
It is to be noted that the two accused arrested in the Nazim Jokhio murder case had revealed that they had thrown the victim’s mobile into a 50-60 feet deep well in Memon Goth which had been dry for many years.
Investigators later said that people were burning rubbish in the dry well at Memon Goth in Malir and that mobile phones could not be found in the well due to extreme heat. The police asked the people not to burn garbage in this well so that mobile phone can be found after it cools down.
Yesterday, the Sessions Court Malir granted interim bail to the accused Saleem Halar in the Nazim Jokhio murder case, while an other accused in the case, National Assembly member Jam Abdul Karim, has obtained security bail from the Balochistan High Court, but his younger brother MPA Jam Awais is in police custody.
