Suspect held harassing Turkish vlogger
The police detained the man who harassed the Turkish woman vlogger in the Saddar area of Karachi.
The police took notice after the video of the harassment of the woman went viral on social media.
Police received a video clip via Whatsapp, which showed a man was harassing a woman who was making a vlog on Daudpota Road near Honk Kong Centre.
Shoaib, the suspect who harassed the Turkish vlogger Seda Nur, was detained by the police, after which the accused apologized to the woman.
Turkish vlogger thanked the police and said, “I hope the person who harassed me has learned a lesson.”
SSP District South says that action will be taken against the accused as per law. A case against the suspect under Section 509 PPC (uttering any word or making any gesture intended to insult the modesty of a woman) was registered.
