Main accused of gang rape on motorway arrested
The victim girl was taken for a job in a boutique

Police have arrested the main accused in the alleged gang-rape of a girl in a car on the M-4 motorway near Gojra.
According to the police spokesperson, the arrested accused is under investigation. A case of gang rape has been registered in the City Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s aunt.
The aunt of the victim has taken stand in the FIR that the girl was called to Gojra for interview by texting on the phone. On reaching Gojra from Toba Tek Singh, the accused asked her to send her niece in the car.
The girl’s aunt further said that in the car in which the niece was taken, there was a woman and two men. The accused gang-raped the girl on the motorway. After the rape, they dropped her to Faisalabad Interchange.

DSP Waqar Ahmed said that there were three accused in the incident of rape who came in the car. Among them, there were two boys and a girl who had texted the victim. The girl did not tell the names of the accused and the number of the car.
The DSP said that geo-fencing was being carried out and more accused would be arrested in a day or two. The accused had taken the girl away for a job in a boutique in Faisalabad.
Another accused in bride’s rape case killed in encounter
DSP Mian Waqar Ahmed said that DNA samples have been sent to Lahore after medical examination of the victim girl.
