Another accused in bride’s rape case killed in encounter

MULTAN, (June, 13, 2021): Another accused of a gang rape case in Shujaabad area of ​​Multan was killed in an alleged encounter.

Police said the accused was shot dead by his accomplices.

According to the police, the accused Shaukat was being taken for recovery of looted items, when his accomplices opened fire on the police to rescue him and the accused Shaukat was shot dead.

Police said the accused Shaukat’s accomplices took advantage of the darkness and fled.

Accused Abidi was also killed in an encounter two days ago in a case of rape of a bride.

In Shujaabad area of ​​Multan, 12 days ago, four accused gang-raped a bride during a house robbery.

A case was registered against the unidentified accused under the provisions of robbery and abuse after the victim’s medical report proved abuse.

The bride was gang-raped on Tuesday night after five robbers tortured her during a robbery.

The robbers also looted the bride’s five-pound jewelry and Rs 1.5 lakh cash.
