ATM card snatchers gang busted in Karachi

KARACHI, (June 13, 2021) Madadgar Police 15 arrested a four-member gang of accused for snatching ATM cards from citizens and withdrawing money from banks.

According to police, 85 ATM cards and Rs 813,000 withdrawn from banks through were recovered from the possession of the accused.

Madadgar Police said that this morning at 15 a citizen informed that within the limits of Shah Latif Town police station near Quaidabad Manzil petrol pump, there are suspicious persons outside the bank for a long time who came inside the ATM machine of the bank.

According to the spokesman, 15 Police reached the spot and arrested four accused also recovered 85 ATM cards and Rs 813,000 from whose possession.

The money was snatched from the citizens by the accused or withdrawn from the banks through ATM cards snatched from them.

The arrested accused have been handed over to Shah Latif Town Police along with the recovered items.
