During the ongoing operation, the dacoits’ front trenches and temporary shelters were set on fire, while 15 suspects were detained.

 The political administration also claimed that in the operation against the bandit Ladi gang, permanent hideouts of dacoits have been demolished and temporary shelters have been set on fire.

The political administration said that the Ladi gang members have left the front and fled to an unknown location.

Border military police, Punjab police and Rangers are participating in the operation.  

According to the political administration, four days ago, three people were abducted by bandit Ladi gang in Taman Khosa tribal area of ​​Dera Ghazi Khan, after which a kidnapper namely Khair Mohammad was shot dead and Mohammad Ramzan was killed with a sharp instrument.

No arrests have been made so far, but the kidnappers released the third hostage after the operation began.

 An operation was launched against the accused after this brutal act.

Rajanpur

Two policemen abducted from Kutcha area in Rajanpur district of ​​South Punjab have not been recovered yet.

According to Rajanpur police, today is the third day of the operation against dacoits for the recovery of police personnel in Kutcha area, who were kidnapped from a police post.

Rangers, police reoccupies 45-km katcha area of Rajanpur

Pakistan prominent media reported that a joint team of the Rangers and the Punjab police claims to have reoccupied 45-kilomtre katcha area of Rajanpur (Indus riverside) in a grand operation launched against hardened criminal gangs on March 8.

The law enforcers used heavy military machineries, helicopters, armoured personnel carriers (APCs) and weapons. However, the intense and pitched battle between the forces and members of Lund, Imrani and Lathani gangs in Rojhan, Sonmiani and Bangla Icha areas of Rajanpur lasted three days.

Reports quoting official sources further said the operation named ‘Dominating & Sanitization Operation’, was launched on the order of Prime Minister Imran Khan and more than 700 police and 400 Rangers personnel took part.

In the intense scuffles, he said, a notorious robber with head money of Rs0.8 million Ayub Lathani was allegedly killed while other hardened dacoits including Loang Mazari, Shabbir Usmani and Attaullah Pat were injured.

“Ayub Lathani used to kidnap women for extortion and rape them”

Ayub Lathani was wanted in 46 heinous crime cases lodged against him and his accomplices with various police stations of the district. He used to kidnap women for extortion and rape them, he said.

Attaullah Patwas and his accomplices allegedly kidnapped seven Elite Force personnel in 2017 when they were patrolling on a boat.

The official said a three Rangers personnel were also injured.
