KARACHI, (May 31, 2021): A delegation of Ulema led by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The Ulema expressed their reservations over the Trust Act.
Nasir Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, IG Sindh, Additional Chief Secretary Home Usman Chachar were also present on the occasion.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the Trust Act is basically a federal law, the provinces are adopting the federal law, despite being a federal law, we will review the act and try to remove the reservations of the Ulema.
The Chief Minister Sindh further said that a committee has been set up under the chairmanship of Nasir Shah. The committee will sit down with the Ulema and address their concerns. We will talk to the Federal Government after deliberation with the Ulema.
