Teachers body of Urdu University demands emergency funds to pay the salaries 

KARACHI, Jan 19,2024:  Teachers Association, Federal Urdu University Abdul Haq Campus has appealed to the President of Pakistan and the Chancellor of the University Dr. Arif Alvi, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwarul Haq Kakar, the Federal Minister of Education and the Pro-Chancellor of the University Madad Ali Sindhi to immediately open the University, provide emergency funds immediately to pay the salaries of the employees.

The teachers association said that the salaries, house rent and pension of the last two months have not been released to the teachers and employees of the university due to which the current and former employees of the university are facing severe financial pressure.

Higher Education Commission, Federal Ministry of Education  are not making serious efforts to solve this problem due to which the university is facing financial crisis.
