Study on Role of Career Development Program at Universities of Sindh
KHAIRPUR (June 11, 2021): Ph. D Research Scholar Ms Nadia Samo successfully defended her research on the topic “An Empirical Study on Measuring the Role of Career Development Program of Public Sector Universities of Sindh”.
Ph. D Open Defense Seminar was held in the Institute of Commerce, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided over the open defense. Ph. D Research Scholar Ms. Nadia Samo successfully defended her research on the topic “An Empirical Study on Measuring the Role of Career Development Program of Public Sector Universities of Sindh” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences.
While presenting her research, Ms. Nadia Samo said that her research aimed at to focus to investigate the association of organizational commitment with job satisfaction from the faculty members of general public sector universities of Sindh. She said loyalty and productivity of employee is related with job satisfaction. Planning is very essential and significant with the job performance.
Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said research is an intensive and extensive course of action to reach on height of success and produce latest results so the community and country could be benefited. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that in our society there are number of issues which pertains to society, it is need of the time to embark quality research on these issues. He said it is a healthy sign that research is being conducted on career development. Dr. Ibupoto said we are committed to provide the culture of conducive and congenial environment for our research scholars to embark quality research.
Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo said that the work of the research scholar will pave new and latest trends for future research scholars. The scholar has conducted the research work on different public sector universities of Sindh regarding career development at the Universities.
Research Experts, Dr. Ghulam Ali Jariko, Professor, University of Sindh Jamshoro, Prof. Dr. Hakim Ali Kanasiro, ex-Dean faculty of commerce & business administration, University of Sindh Jamshoro and Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, Director Institute of Commerce shed light on the research work conducted by the scholar. They said that the work of the research scholar is up to the mark and as per Higher Education Commission’s criteria on modern lines. The required parameters have been completed by the scholars.
Prof. Dr. Tajnees Pirzada, Director Postgraduate Studies conducted the proceedings of the Open Defense Seminar. The open defense was declared as successful.
Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar, Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Halepoto and large number of teachers and research scholars attended the seminar.
