KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh has decided to take more strict measures in Hyderabad and East Karachi, at a meeting of the Covid Task Force held on Monday, to review the latest situation of Corona virus in Sindh.

The meeting of Provincial Corona Virus Task Force was presided over by the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

 The Chief Minister was informed during the briefing that the recovery rate in Sindh is 93% and the death rate is 1.6%, there are 5.4% cases across the province while 154 patients died in April.

The meeting was further informed that in the last 7 days, 10.42% cases have been reported in Karachi, 14.52% in Hyderabad and 5.48% in Sukkur.

 Murad Ali Shah noted that SOPs were being violated.

The Chief Minister Sindh directed the Police and Commissioner Karachi to strictly enforce SOPs.

Chief Minister also directed the ministers to visit the city, as these visits would help in implementing the SOPs.
