New academic year in Sindh to start from April 1

KARACHI Aug 27,2021- Sindh schools to open from August 30 (Monday). A meeting of the working committee of Sindh Education Department has taken  a conditional decision to open schools across the province including Karachi from Monday.

It was decided at the meeting that schools with 100% vaccinated staff would be open 6 days a week.  

It was decided in the meeting of the working committee of Sindh Education Department that there will be classes for 3 days 1 shift and 3 days second shift.

The meeting decided that the school owners would inform the parents about the vaccination.

The working committee of the Sindh Education Department decided in the meeting that the parents would submit a copy of the vaccination card to the school.

As per the decision taken in the meeting, the committee of the education department in the schools will review the situation.

The students from 9th class to 12th class to be vaccinated, Sindh Health Department has taken a major initiative decision regarding vaccination.

Sindh Health Department has decided to vaccinate students from 9th class to 12th class.

DG Health Sindh has directed the district officers to prepare a six-day plan.

Corona positive rate still high in Karachi, Hyderabad

In Karachi, the country’s largest city, the corona virus test rate remained high. According to the spokesman of the health department, the rate of positive cases of corona virus in Karachi has been recorded at 14.11% during the last 24 hours.  

Hyderabad, Sindh’s second largest city, recorded 9.43% positive cases of corona virus in the last 24 hours.
