Two kidnapped policemen were released after seven days by dacoits in Kutcha area of ​​Rajanpur district of South Punjab.

According to sources, matter was reportedly settled between the police and the dacoits through local chiefs last night, Geo Tv reported.

With the help of local chiefs, matters were settled between the police and the dacoits that the kidnappers would be rescued in exchange for the relatives of the robbers.

Sources also said that the police had arrested the relatives of the dacoits.

It is to be noted that two policemen Irfan Manzoor and Arshad were abducted by dacoits from Kutcha Sonmiani area in Rajanpur.

Lathani, a notorious gang of dacoits, had demanded the release of his accomplice in exchange for the release of the abducted policemen.
