Operation continues in Rajanpur to rescue two policemen
Operation in Katcha, 4 dacoits killed, 8 facilitators arrested
MULTAN (May 28, 2021): An operation against dacoits is also underway in Kutcha Sonmiani for the recovery of two policemen who were abducted in Rajanpur yesterday.
According to Rajanpur police, the robbers demanded the release of their accomplice in exchange for the release of the policemen.
Police have so far had no success in the operation, the abducted officials are still in the custody of the robbers.
In May 2020, dacoits kidnapped three police officials posted at a police check post from Kutcha area of Sonmiani. Earlier in August 2017, bandits attacked a police post and abducted seven policemen.
