Punjab launches issuing digital inheritance certificates thru NADRA
LAHORE – Jul 14,2021 – The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has started issuing digital inheritance certificates in Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has said that issuance of digital inheritance certificates has been started in the province.
This facility of digital inheritance certificate would be available in 36 districts.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that the legal heirs will be able to get the inheritance certificate in 15 days.
He said he would not have to go to court for an inheritance certificate.
It may be mentioned that Sindh government has already started issuance of digital inheritance certificate through NADRA last month.
The Chief Minister said that this move would reduce the unnecessary burden on the judicial system.
