Former President Mamnoon Hussain passes away

KARACHI – Jul 14,2021- Former President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday passed away due to illness, confirmed his son Arsalan Mamnoon.

Arsalan Mamnoon said that Mamnoon Hussain had been undergoing treatment in a private hospital for two weeks.

His son said the former president was suffering from cancer.

Mamnoon Hussain was born on December 23, 1940 in Agra. He was one of the senior leaders of PML-N and served as the President from 2013 to 2018.

President Arif Alvi, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani and Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Afridi have expressed their condolences over the death of Mamnoon Hussain.
