Govt wants to facilitate Musharraf in his repatriation

Law Minister Nazir Tarar has said that the government wanted to facilitate former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in his repatriation. Musharraf was convicted, so he should come back and let the court look into his case.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Azam Nazir Tarar said that Justice Faez Isa would take up the matter with the Prime Minister on review appeal and would take up the matter in the cabinet meeting.

Azam Nazir Tarar said that he would demand from the government for permanent secretary law.

Accompanying the law minister, on the occasion, President Supreme Court Bar Association Ahsan Bhoon said that he was grateful to the Law Minister for taking steps to resolve the issues of lawyers. The Prime Minister directed steps for Supreme Court Bar Housing Society.

Ahsan Bhoon said that the government should withdraw the review appeal in the case of Justice Faez Isa and action should be taken against Pervez Musharraf in accordance with the law.
