Governor Sindh visits ongoing development works in Karachi

KARACHI (June 8, 2021): Governor Sindh Imran Ismail visited different areas of Karachi to monitor the ongoing development works in the city. Member National Assembly Alamgir Khan also accompanied the Governor.

Governor Sindh visited COD Filter Plant at Dalmia Shantinagar. During his visit, he also inspected the ongoing sewerage work under the Napa flyover.

Besides, the Governor also visited Metro Family Park in Gulzar Hijri Scheme 33 and Family Park in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-14.

Talking to media on the occasion of his visit to Gulshan Cricket Ground Block 6, Governor Sindh said that he has visited different areas of the city to monitor the ongoing development works in the city.

He said that schemes worth Rs 10 billion have been given to Karachi while schemes worth over Rs 450 billion have been set up for Sindh.

70% of the schemes have been released. He further said that Sindh was not being discriminated against and there was no situation of Governor Raj in Sindh.

Governor Sindh said that Sindh is our home and it will not be allowed to be ruined under any circumstances. The present federal government has shown interest and started development works.
