CAA issues warning to 5 airlines for cancelling the flights

KARACHI- Jul 02, 2021- The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a warning to some international airlines, noting the sudden cancellation of flights.

The airlines included Qatar Airways, Turkish Airline, Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, and Fly Dubai.

The CAA in a press release said that the sudden cancellation of flights has caused inconvenience to huge number of passengers arriving in Pakistan.

According to the NCOC, Corona gradually increased its flights from abroad as the situation improved.

The CAA directed the above mentioned airlines to accommodate the passengers and also consider those who choose to refund fare.

From 15 June 2021 to till today the daily number of passengers was increased from 4,000 to 8,000.

The CAA also expressed concern on irresponsible statements issued by the representatives of some airlines for putting the blame on PCAA for cancellation of flight.
