Boat carrying flood victims over turned near sehwan, 4 bodies retrieved

SEHWAN Aug 29,2022- A boat carrying flood victims overturned near the flood-affected village Bilawalpur in Sindh’s historic city of Sewhan, resulting in over 20 people on board falling into the water.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro said that 20 to 25 people were on board, out of which seven people were rescued, while the bodies of four people were retrieved.

The rescue operation is going on to search for more than 10 missing persons.

Heavy flood water cause breaches in FB and Supreo Bunds

Police sources have said that the victims were migrating due to flood when the incident of boat sinking took place.
