Heavy flood water cause breaches in FB and Supreo Bunds while a cut has been administered to Johi brach.

There was a breach near the Jatoi Goth on the Supreo embankment, while FP Bund has Four breaches at mill point.  Two breaches in Supreo Bund are lying on RD 12 and Dar D 52 in front of Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah towns.

Irriagtion officials briefed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah reached Manchhar Lake on Monday morning.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was informed that Johi Branch has been given cut at RD 82 to divert water discharge. Gaji Khawar is threatened by the overflowing of the drain and Dhamrao branch.

Sindh Chief Minister was briefed by SE Shafqat of Irrigation Department.

Guddu barrage has a water flow of 500944 cusecs while Sukkur barrage has a water flow of 530750 cusecs.

Manchhar Lake Situation

The water level in Manchar is 120.75 feet.  The threat to Manchhar will increase at 123 feet, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said.

CM Sindh hoped that the water level in Manchhar will decrease in the next 8 days.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said. I have to take such decisions to prevent the city from sinking, Chief Minister Sindh.

Chief Minister also inspected the super dam.
