Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Model Town on Sunday.
In the wake of PTI chiarman;s threat to dissolve the assemblies of two provinces. the two leaders discussed the overall political situation of the country, economy and other important issues.
It was decided in the meeting that no one will be allowed to create political instability in the country, it was also decided to take decisive action against those who conspired to default the economy.
Consultations were also held between the two leaders on matters related to the relief to the people, increase in economic activities. It was agreed to speed up the measures to relieve the people from the burden of inflation along with the economic improvement.
Asif Zardari appreciated the Prime Minister’s efforts to reduce the prices of petroleum products.
The two leaders agreed to increase the political power of the coalition parties and said that political stability is necessary for the economic development of Pakistan, they will go to any extent to protect Pakistan from economic threats. It was agreed in the meeting that the coalition government will continue to move steadily forward for political stability and economic improvement. Special Assistants of Prime Minister Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Ataullah Tarar were also present in the meeting.
