Tarana Ali Dosti, the famous actress of the Oscar-winning film, was arrested in Iran.

According to foreign media, Tarana Ali Dosti has been accused of spreading false information and creating chaos.

38-year-old Iranian actress Tarana Ali supported the ongoing protests in Iran by posting a picture on social media without a scarf.

The actress made a post on her social media account on December 8, the day the youth who participated in the protest was hanged, foreign media reported.

Now the Instagram account of the actress has also been deleted.

The film ‘The Salesman’ won the Oscar in 2017 in which Tarana Ali Dosti played the lead role, after which she became very famous.

It should be noted that the moral police created in 2006 during the regime of former Iranian President Ahmadinejad detained a 22-year-old girl Mehsa Amini in September this year for not covering her head.

Mehsa Amini died on September 16 of an alleged heart attack while in custody, whose death has sparked protests in Iran since September 17. At least 14,000 people have been arrested since the protests began, while at least 458 people, including 63 children, have been killed.
