52 personnel injured in violence by PTI workers in Islamabad,
Imran Khan’s bail extended till March 27 in 5 cases
ISLAMABAD, 19,2023- 52 personnel including the police were injured when PTI workers pelted stones on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s appearance at the judicial complex.
Islamabad Police prepared a report on the damage caused on the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance in the judicial complex.
According to the report, 12 vehicles of Islamabad Police, 3 vehicles of Punjab and FC were partially or completely destroyed.
4 vehicles of Islamabad Police were burnt, 2 pickups of security division and Land Cruiser with jammer were also damaged.
Rioting case registered for incidents on the hearing of Imran Khan
According to the report of Islamabad police, the doors and front screen of 3 vans of the prisoners were damaged, 2 pick-ups, 2 motorcycles and a car were burnt to ashes.
The report said that SSP Operations Malik Jameel Zafar, SP Sadar Noshirwan Ali, SP Rural Hasan Jahangir, SP Plan and Patrol Dr. Sami were injured. .
The report of Islamabad Police further states that the windows of 2 buses of Punjab Constabulary Faisalabad and 1 bus of Chakwal Police were completely broken.
According to the report, the IG has issued orders to estimate the damages as soon as possible.
