ISLAMABAD, Mar 19,2023 – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed to prepare a petroleum relief package upto 50 rupees per liter for the low income group.

In the meeting presided over by the Prime Minister, a petroleum relief package of up to Rs. 50 per liter has been considered for the low income poor people.

Shehbaz Sharif directed that all low-income consumers using motorcycles, rickshaws and other small vehicles including 800 cc should be included in the petroleum subsidy.

The Prime Minister directed that the practical program of petroleum subsidy should be completed as soon as possible, the relevant institutions should prepare a comprehensive strategy.

Shehbaz Sharif said that motorcycle rickshaws and small vehicles are the ride of low income people, petroleum subsidy will directly lead to the relief of poor people.
