Rioting case registered for incidents on the hearing of Imran Khan

A case of vandalism and rioting was registered on the appearance of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case in Islamabad court.

A case of rioting, arson, vandalism and attacks on the police was registered in the CTD police station in Islamabad against around 50 arrested PTI workers and wanted leaders, which includes various provisions of 10 crimes including terrorism.

According to the text of the FIR, 17 leaders including Ali Amin Gandapur, Murad Saeed, Aamir Kayani, Asad Qaiser, Shibli Faraz, Asad Umar, Umar Ayub, Ali Awan, Hassan Niazi have been named in the case.

According to the text of the case, on the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance, the police check post was damaged, the main gate and glass of the judicial complex were broken.

According to the FIR, 18 accused were arrested for arson, stone pelting and breaking the building of the judicial complex.

The text of the FIR also states that Imran Niazi came from the opposite side of the road in violation of Section 144 along with army of supporters, who were carrying sticks and stones in their hands.

According to police sources, Islamabad Police sent videos of Safe City to NADRA to identify the rioters.
