KARACHI: The demonstration was organized by Godhra community at Gabol Chowk in Karachi on Saturday, to mark 100 weeks protest of Badah Taluka Movement.

Protesters chanted slogan in support of the demand for Badah Taluka. Addressing the gathering, Convener of the Badah Taluka Movement Ali Muhammad Brohi said that the story of atrocities against Badah Town, district Larkana was is long. The city with a population of around one million has been deprived of basic amenities.

He said, 100 weeks of protest have been completed and threatened to observe sit-in out side CM house if their demands were not accepted.

The residents of Badah have been protesting for more than a week, except verbal assurances practically no action has been taken by the provincial government.

Convener Karachi Hameed Soomro said that the Taluka Movement Forum is the real voice of civil rights.

Abdul Salam Bokra, Anwar Sheikh and Abdul Majeed Dholki also spoke on the occasion and asked the government to resolve their issue earliest possible.
