Transfer of LB educational institutions to Sindh govt under consideration
Karachi: Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that government was considering transfer of educational institutions run by local bodies to Sindh education department.
As told by a 40 female teacher’s delegation of DMC Central who met with Sindh Minister.
The teachers requested the Provincial Minister for Local Government for their allowances and salary payments.
I have been performing services, but my employment is not made permanent. The teachers added that they have not received their salaries for the last three months.
The Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah assured the teachers that the issue of three month salary would be resolved soon.
The minister said that the Sindh government was working on various proposals for the betterment of educational institutions run by local bodies and the legal aspects of transferring all educational institutions to Sindh education department were being reviewed.
