KARACHI Aug 6,2021 – The Antiterrorism Court acquitted former home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and 27 others in a case of attacking  Badin police station and riots,

A case was registered against Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and his associates in Badin in 2015.

Dr Zulfiqar Mirza along with his associates in 2015, went to the police station to lodge a complaint against former president Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur among others, police said.

Zulfiqar Mirza threatened the policemen and broke the SHO’s mobile phone, police said.

Zulfiqar Mirza said that the case was framed by the then Sindh government for political revenge.

The court ruled on the case after recording the statements of Zulfiqar Mirza and others.
