Young doctors start sit-in at PMC Islamabad

ISLAMABAD Oct 05,2021- The young doctors started protest sit-in at the PMC head office here on Tuesday.

Convoys of young doctors from different cities of Pakistan reached in front of the Pakistan Medical Commission in Islamabad and started protest sit-in by blocking the road in front of the PMC.

Young doctors said they have been protesting for four months but no one is there to listen them. They have also threatened to lock up the PMC if their demands are not met.

By blocking the road in front of the PMC, the protesters chanted slogans against the NLE exam and also chanted slogans against PMC President Dr Arshad Taqi and Vice President Ali Raza.

“We were compelled to march towards Islamabad and sit in front of the PMC,” the young doctors said.
