LARKANA Oct 5,2021- A play on the life of Sami, renowned in Sindhi classical poet was staged at the Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana.

The play was staged under auspice of Sindh Culture Department and directed by Ali Roshan Sheikh, Director of Sindh.

A large number of people came to the Arts Council to see him. The drama captures images of Sami’s life that most people were unaware of.

In the drama Sami’s business life as well as his inclination towards Sufism, philanthropy and private life were beautifully portrayed in such a way that the audience applauded the drama.

Famous stage and TV actors Amjad Gul Soomro, Ahmed Memon, Ashiq Ali Dawood, Sahni Naz, Remanaz, Saeed Tonio, Larib Sajjan, Gulab Shahani, Moazzam, Sifat Ali Shah, Mumtaz Joyo and Abdul Sattar Dad performed in the drama and enthralled the audience.

The story was written by Dawood Memon. The director was Badar Khan and the technical director was Ayub Gad.
