Two kidnapped children recovered in Karachi

KARACHI, Nov,13,2022- Police and Rangers recovered two children kidnapped for ransom from Shah Faisal Colony and arrested four kidnappers including two injured ones.

On Saturday, one Mohammad Raheel Tawfiq told the Shah Faisal Colony police station, that he works as a caterer and is a resident of Shah Faisal Hujraabad. At 6:29 in the evening, he received a mobile call. The callers told him that his two children were in their possession.

The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 50 million for the release of the children.

A case under section 365/a/34 and under anti-terrorism section was registered. According to the police, the police and Rangers on a tip off raided a place were in Dawood Shurogoth Chokundi area of ​​Shah Latif Town. After an encounter four kidnappers, Aqib, Umeer, Manzoor and Abu Bakr, including the two injured, were arrested and the two children were safely recovered.

Three mobile phones, two motorcycles and a pistol were also recovered from the possession of the accused. The injured accused were shifted to the hospital. While the criminal records of the other two accused are being checked and their investigation is ongoing.
