TTP Commander killed in North Waziristan

ISLAMABAD Sep 20,2021- Commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Safiullah, was killed in a security operation in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan in which a TTP terrorist was killed.
ISPR said that Safiullah belonged to Mir Ali and was involved in the killing of four NGO women in February.
The ISPR further said that the terrorist Safiullah was also involved in the targeted killing of FWO engineers in 2020.
Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition during the operation.
