Towards sustainable water supply plan

Renowned development and social activist Gul Mastoi share his experience

You also know that the responsibility of fetching water for the houses lies on the house women. Hard work and sacrifice were not appreciated. You see in these pictures water is found but this arrangement is temporary and unsustainable. All these efforts are due to our ongoing charity volunteer team who worked day and night to bring this work to fruition.

Today, I came Wahi Pandhi, (district Dadu Sindh) especially from Hyderabad to come up with a sustainable and permanent solution for water supply in consultation with his volunteer team.

With the advice of the people of the community, it was decided to build a small room to protect the bored and water-supply pope from the sun and rain, and to provide water to the common people, to build a water tank in every street corner, which would provide water for two hours in the morning and so also in the evening.

To prevent waste water from being wasted, constructed a small ground tank in which this water is stored so that water is available to animals and birds.

Due to the lack of electricity, the solar system, which has been donated by someone else, will not disrupt the water supply. Inshallah this work will be completed in fifteen days then I will revisit the site.
