Jinnah Women’s University student tries to commit suicide

KARACHI, June3,2022- A student of Jinnah Women’s University in Nazimabad area of Karachi has allegedly tried to commit suicide.

According to police, the girl allegedly drank poison on the roof of the university and tried to jump down.

The university staff spotted the girl in time and reached the roof and stopped her from committing suicide, police said.

The girl has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.

According to police officials, the girl tried to commit suicide as she was fed up with the domestic situation.
