Teachers cannot be posted according to their wishes, Saeed Ghani

KARACHI June 28, 2021: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that government has formulated a comprehensive policy of transfer and posting. Teachers cannot be posted according to their wishes.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday,

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that according to the policy, more than 37,000 teachers would be recruited under IBA Sukkur.

He said that the recruitment of teachers was delayed due to Corona and would try to recruit teachers as soon as possible.

He said that earlier plan was to recruit teachers in three years, but now teachers will be recruited in one year.

Saeed Ghani said that where there were more teachers, they were sent to closed schools. We caught many teachers who were sitting at home and taking their salaries.

He said that the education department used 80% of the released funds.

The provincial minister said that our focus is less on building new schools, we will build old schools, we will spend more on rehabilitation of old schools this time, the finance department has also assured to give more money.

Saeed Ghani said that inshallah there will be an effort to solve the problem of school furniture this time.
