Tayyaba Gul’s disclosure before PAC about ex-chairman NAB

Tayyaba Gul, the accuser of former chairman NAB, appeared before the Public Accounts Committee and has made important revelations

Tayyaba Gul, who filed a harassment petition against former Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, appeared before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Natioanl Assembly, where she made important revelations.

Tayyaba Gul told PAC that a false reference was made against me. So they got angry.

The woman said that in January 2019, NAB arrested her from home at night, as her number was written on an application about the missing person. He kept calling me from time to time. She further added that sheI made the video of Javed Iqbal’s conversation because he was a high-powered official, she wanted the truth of this person to come before everyone.

“Chairman NAB said that it is difficult in NAB to come to the Missing Persons Commission and meet him Tayyaba Gul said and added that Javed Iqbal used to say that he can destroy my life in a minute.”

Tayyaba Gul told PAC that “Chairman NAB arrested me and my husband Farooq, I was arrested by the male officers, I cannot tell you how cruel they were to me on the way in the car, I was taken to Lahore without a transit remand. When I was taken to Salim Shahzad, my clothes were torn, nails were on my body, during the search, even my clothes were taken off at the request of DG NAB Lahore Salim Shahzad.

Tayyaba Gul said that Javed Iqbal’s personal staff officer Rashid Wani is his facilitator in the Missing Persons Commission. Till date, neither my FIR was filed neither any court heard her.

Earlier, Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan said that Javed Iqbal told the woman who came to the Commission of Missing Persons that you are so beautiful, why you need a husband. The members demanded to take strict notice on this allegation.

Social activist Amna Masood Janjua while speaking on the Geo News program disclosed the harassment of a woman by the Commission for Missing Persons.

DG NAB Shahzad Salim responds Tayyaba Gul’s allegations

DG NAB Shahzad Salim, responding the statement of Tayyaba Gul before PAC, said in his statement that it has come to my knowledge that Tayyaba Gul has narrated the audio to the Public Accounts Committee.

Shahzad Salim said that in the audio he am talking to Nighat Bhatti, Tayyaba Gul’s case is another while Nighat Bhatti’s is another case.

Justice (R) Javed Iqbal is in Eid holidays

Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan said that Justice (R) Javed Iqbal has written a letter that he has gone home on Eid holidays.

PAC chairamn orders probe into four cases

Acting Chairman NAB Zahir Shah asked for permission to leave the PAC meeting, but Noor Alam Khan said that it is necessary for you to sit, the credibility of your institution has been questioned, you cannot leave the committee.

Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan while asking questions to Acting Chairman NAB said that where did the BRT corruption reference go? What about the Bank of Khyber case? What happened to the billion tree tsunami and so also Malam Jabba?

Acting Chairman NAB Zahir Shah replied that the Malam Jabba case has been closed, but Noor Alam Khan said that we give instructions to reopen the case, give us a report, in how much time will you give us a report? ? In response, Zahir Shah said that he will give a report in six months.
