ISLAMABAD (June 12, 2021): Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said that proposal to tax on mobile calls, internet data and SMS has been withdrawn, as Prime Minister Imran Khan and his cabinet have opposed the imposition of this tax.

Speaking at post budget press conference, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said, loans of up to Rs 3 lakhs will be given to the poor through Akhwat and Ehsas programs, interest free loan of Rs 5 lakhs will be given for 3 years, resources of the country are with banks, not with the government Man and farmer are not close.
