Sindh minister warns against promotion of linguistic politics
KARACHI (June 12, 2021): Sindh minister for education and labour Saeed Ghani has appealed to all the people to thwart the conspiracies of hatred in the province and added that there will be a demonstration against Sindhis on June 15, and on the other hand, there will be a demonstration against the Muhajirs.
The minister appeal to the intellectuals, for God sake come forward I appeal to all the people to thwart the conspiracies of hatred conspiracy against the two communities of Sindh.
Talking about controversial housing project the minister said, Bahria Town has been regularized by the Supreme Court like Bani Gala, there is no illegal occupation. However he said, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has instructed against the occupation of people’s lands by the Bahria Town.
He said that Syed Nasir Shah met with the victims of the Bahria Town.
To a question he said, protest is right of every citizen, but on June 6, there were riots. People’s property was been damaged, that is terrorism, which cannot be tolerated.
Some persons carrying photos of Altaf Hussain, raised slogans. More than a dozen people climbed the wall and set fire to the gates inside, damaged property.
He said innocent people arrested will be dispensed justice.
He said the MQM wants to linguistic politics, and wants fight of Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Sindhis and Muhajirs.
