Social activist Saba Aslam’s suspect killer arrested

KARACHI Dec 18,2021- Police have arrested the suspect killer of a social activist girl Saba Aslam, who was killed with a sharp instrument in Bilal Colony of New Karachi.

According to police, accused Ghazanfar had stabbed 25-year-old Saba to death on the morning of December 14. A knife was also recovered from the possession of the accused.

The accused in his statement told police said that Saba Aslam had formed a welfare organization in the neighborhood, and he did not like Saba doing social welfare work.

The accused also said in the police statement that he was jealous to Saba’s reputation so he planned to kill her.

Saba Aslam was stabbed to death on December 14, while going to her office near her home in New Karachi.
