KARACHI Dec 15,2021 – Demand for arrest of killer of social activist Saba getting momentum on social media.

Police have failed to arrest the killer of social activist Saba Aslam, who was brutally stabbed to death in New Karachi area on December 14.

On social media demand went viral #JusticeForSaba, Many Twitter users termed it shameful. “We demand immediate arrest of the Culprits.”

According to police officials, Saba was stabbed to death by Ghazanfar, who is her neighbour.

The incident took place in New Karachi Sector-V J, on Tuesday afternoon. According to Sir Syed Police, 24-year-old Saba Aslam was leaving her house to go somewhere when the accused attacked and injured her.

The worker of the social organization Chheepa Welfare Shahid Chheepa said that it was 12:30 pm when he reached there and Saba’s body was lying in the street as she had died.

“People said that as soon as she got out of her house, two men on a motorcycle, wearing masks, hit her on the waist with a sharp weapon, which proved fatal.” 

SHO Sir Syed told the media that the attacker was rude.

The family members of the victim were not ready to lodge an FIR, so a case has been registered in the state’s complaint as it is a murder for which there are eyewitnesses.

Saba Aslam, a resident of New Karachi, had set up an organization

namely Anisa Aslam Welfare in the name of her mother and father, which has been working for the past five years, working mostly for child labor and widows and setting up medical camps.

She has several videos on Facebook in which she is highlighting the drainage problems in her area while on web TV she is seen mentioning this issue and problems.

According to SHO Sir Syed Ahmad Nawaz Brohi, the house of the accused is on the third number next to the house of the victim.
