Sindh opens Mass Vaccination Center in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Health Department has set up Mass Covid Vaccination Center in it capital at Expo Center, Karachi.

According to the Health Department, the center will  be operative from May 9 and will remain open 24 hours where citizens will be vaccinated.

During the third wave of coronavirus, the number of patients and deaths is increasing rapidly across Pakistan. The country ranked 29th in the Coronation Risk Index. The total number of Coronavirus fatalities in the country has reached 18,797, while the total number of patients has increased to 8,54,240.

Parliamentary secretary for health MPA Qasim Soomro visited the centre on Saturday night and inspected the arrangements.

He shared photographs and wrote on his twitter account: Monitored the preparations of the biggest vaccine center in expo center Karachi where we can/will administer 30,000 jabs in 24 hours.
