Sindh High Court stops salaries of Sindh cabinet

SUKKUR: The Sindh High Court bench Sukkur on Tuesday  has directed to stop the salaries of the entire cabinet including Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The court also ordered immediate release of pensions to the retired employees of the market committee.

The court also ordered to stop the salaries of Chief Secretary Sindh, Secretary agriculture and secretary finance till the release of pensions of the petitioners.

 During the hearing, Suhail Koso Advocate appeared on behalf of petitioners before the court and informed the court that despite repeated orders of the Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench, no pension had been released to the retired employees.

The expressed anger and remarked that the cabinet would not receive any remuneration until the retired employees were [aid their pensions. The court adjourned the case till May 11.
