Sindh govt was not officially informed about PM’s visit, Nasir Shah

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government of Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the announcements of the Prime Minister for Sindh was just a words game and added his visit was an excuse, in fact PM came to attend another function.

He expressed these views at a press conference with provincial education minister Saeed Ghani. PPP Karachi Secretary Javed Naguri was also present on the occasion.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the Prime Minister came to our province and we welcome him but the Sindh government was not officially informed about his visit.

“We are accused of not going to greet him,” the provincial information minister said and added if he had told, the Sindh Chief Minister would have gone to welcome him.

Recalling the projects announced by PM on Friday, he said many of them  were old, Sukkur Hyderabad Motorway, NADRA Office, Railway Station, Nai Gaj Dam were all old projects.

The minister said that Sindh was contributing lion’s share in the national economy.

“The Sindh government is ready to cooperate” Nasir said and added, We will support the federal government for the development of the people of Sindh.

Referring to the islands, he said that Sindh had replied to a letter about the islands and asked federal government to work with the fishermen to make development plans.

But the federal government tried to munch the islands by bringing ordinances was their malice.

He lamented that the prime minister was taking U Turn on every issue and was making everything controversial.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that people are aware of this hypocritical politics.
