Sindh govt holds Mustafa Kamal responsible for destruction of Karachi

The Sindh government has said that the politics of prejudice does not look good to Jamaat-e-Islami. Mustafa Kamal is responsible for the destruction of Karachi.

Provincial ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon and Nasir Hussain Shah speaking at a press conference said that 400 mm rainfall was in Karachi in two days.

Sharjeel Memon said that there was cloud burst, there was water on the roads due to rain, KPT underpass was cleared as the ministers were present there at till 6 am.

He added that 95% of the city’s roads are open, there is a problem in the Old City area while pumping is underway at the customs house.

The provincial minister also said that the chief secretary, commissioner, DMCs and all agencies ensured drainage, while the Sindh chief minister was supervising himself.

Sharjeel Memon claimed that the videos of other provinces were aired on social media saying that it was Sindh.

He said that Mustafa Kamal was involved in the closure of Karachi’s waterways, so he was responsible for the destruction of Karachi and added that the Sindh government did not care about false and negative propaganda.

The provincial minister said that in heavy rains fall during the tenure of Mustafa Kamal, 200 people were killed.

He said that 80 to 90 percent water has been drained from the city, at present 10 percent water is standing, the government is working for drainage.
